Climate Change, Natural Catastrophes and Consumer Awareness Working Group

This Working Group is responsible for working with key stakeholders to increase consumer awareness and understanding of the risks related to natural catastrophes and climate change, preparedness, insurance options, and coverages as well as the features of disaster relief programs. Methods for achieving this will include clarifying the regulators’ expectations for industry participants, developing materials and messaging for consumers, and working with stakeholders to promote existing resources that could improve consumer awareness.
