Identify, monitor, assess and report on regulatory developments related to the fair treatment of customers, including disclosures and transparency, incentives management, client relationships from around the world and across financial services industries;
develop recommendations regarding the appropriateness and potential application of these regulatory developments in the regulation of insurance in Canada; and
develop guidance for industry participants regarding the expectations of CCIR members as they relate to the fair treatment of customers, including disclosures and transparency, incentives management, client relationships and other topics that may arise.
