|
The CCIR has agreed to form a working group

IVIC Point of Sale Sub-Committee |
CCIR and the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) had a
joint meeting where the two organizations reviewed the
progress of their joint initiative under the auspices of the
Joint Forum of Financial Market Regulators to harmonize the
point of sale disclosure for mutual funds and segregated
funds. |
|
Industry Practices Review Committee |
As
part of its current project to review the implementation of
the three IPRC principles -
priority of
the client’s interest, disclosure of potential conflicts of
interest, and product suitability
– The IPRC has prepared a
“Report on Action on the IPRC Principles by
Industry Associations” which will be posted on the CCIR
website.
The
IPRC is conducting an implementation review of insurers and
intermediaries to confirm the extent to which the principles
have been embraced by industry and to assess whether further
regulatory action is required. |

Insurers Application Form |
The CCIR has updated the Insurers Application form on its
